HEY HEY!!
Cubs have been doing well of late. Especially with a few key members battling injuries. I am optimisitc about this year and goal one is to win the division. We cant worry about playoffs if we are not in the playoffs. So lets get there and then get through that!
Anyway, I have a few thoughts I wanted to write about. First, sorry about the last post. It was a little goofy. Last night we had an incident here at home involving the family dog and Bryson. It is difficult to describe in words how it all went down, but basically, the dog was eating and Bryson was nearbye. Bryson dropped his pacifier out of his mouth and it happened to fall near a pebble of dog food. Well, Bry, of course, went for his pacifier and the dog thought he was going for her food and she took a little nip at Bryson. I am not sure if it was a mean nip or what because I could not see, but I do not think it matters. I can also see from the dog's perspective because we are trying to lower the amount of food she gets so she can be fiesty, but again it does not matter. This is not acceptable. The dog is the dog and especially with a baby, they HAVE to know their place in the family.
However, I have NO experience with dogs. I do not know the best way to handle them or when or where or how to punish them. This is where I have to say thank you to Grandpa and Grandma R. Immediatly they let the dog know that what she did was unaccepltable. You have to take care of it immediatly because then the dig understands why it is being punishment. Some people might say it was overpunishment, but it HAD to be done. The baby has a very high place of value and the dog needs to understand this. It was a traumatic event for Amanda and I. Bryson seemed to handle it very well and I am sure he will love playing with the dog all the same. I wish I could go back and do something immediatly, but I did not know what to do. This has been another reason I am glad we are living with them. I can not tell them enough my appreciation for what they did and do daily for us. It can get difficult, but we do not love them any less.
On a bright note, one of my good friends just had his one year wedding anniversry. It is such a special time and I want to share my congrats to them. He is a great man and a great friend. He also just got is masters in architecture. They are an amazing couple and we love them! Congrats guys and many more to come!! Next dinner is on us!!
This celebration reminds me of another anniversary coming up. Amanda and I will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary tomorrow the 19th of May. TWO YEARS!?!? What, I mean where has two years gone. SO much has happened that if I start to recap it would take a long time. All I know is that I love my wife so much and I am so glad that I have known her for a lot of my life and will know her for a lot more. We do not have much planned, but it will not go unnoticed! Love you babe!
Well, thanks for reading and dont touch that mouse because before you know it, Bosco's Blogfeed will give you more!
love Will Amanda and Bryson
